Katrina Kaif press meet - she believe in happy endings

Katrina Kaif press meet - she believe in happy endings: In one of her most candid outburst at Pritish Nandy's book launch Katrina Kaif admitted that she still believes in love.

It couldn't have been a more apt occasion for the beautiful Katrina Kaif, to tell the world that love still makes her world go round. She is happy, irrespective of the space and the time she is in.

No IT raids at her residence or speculations about her love life could stop the actress from being happy these days." The other side of love is disillusionment and disappointment. I do not believe this side of love. I choose to be optimistic in love. I believe in happy endings," revealed Katrina sharing her innermost thought with the media at .

Nandy's book launch held at Crossword yesterday. She also read out passages from the poetry along with Anupam Kher, Chetan Bhagat, Gulzar and Nandy on the dais.

Looking demure in a white dress, and smiling, Bollywood's no.1 actress appeared at ease with the media queries, sometimes being evasive... but mostly interesting in her replies. And before you wonder about her presence at such a do and suspect her credibility as a poetry aficionado, Kat frankly admitted of not being an avid reader. But her frank answers on love and life invited a roomful of attention and applause and at the same time displayed a rarely seen depth.

"I haven't been an avid reader in the last few years, but when Mr. Nandy met me recently, his subject on love interested me hugely. We got into chatting about poetry. I understand the power of poetry. It's so beautiful and expressive," she said. But added with smile that nobody was inspired enough to write love poems on her till now. "I want Gulzar saab to write couplets of love on me,"stated publicly. Obviously an ace poet like Glazer saw the potential of his next poetry and promised to deliver it instantly.

Katrina also promised a book of love poems to all the eligible bachelors in Bollywood "There isn't a single person, but I would like to give a book of love poems to all the unmarried men in Bollywood," she said with a smile.

Clearly, love was in the air. A smitten Chetan Bhagat couldn't take off his eyes from Katrina while Nandy celebrated love in all its hues and shades and finally concluded with an unflinchingly personal thought "One can fall in love even after marriage and that's got nothing to do whether you have a wonderful spouse".
