Sonakshi was sharp to have a move number in the film, but choreographer Farah Khan had offbeat ideas. Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha 'Joker' song shoot enjoys with sadhus: Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha shot with real sadhus for their song in the movie Joker.
The song was being shot by Farah Khan and hubby Shirish Kunder in Chandigarh when the duo spotted a procession of sadhus passing by on the day of Mahashivratri. Immediately the duo hit upon the idea of having the sadhus shoot with Akshay and Sonakshi for the song. The holy men, known to renounce the things and ways of the world, were initially reluctant to shoot for the film, but when Farah persuaded them that they were required for just one shot, they agreed.
So kicked was Kunder by this little cameo by the sadhus that he also made the extras on the sets dress up like sadhus.
More than anything, Akshay and Sonakshi enjoyed the company of the sadhus, as is evident from this pic.

Salman Khan play a lead role in Shirish’s 3D film Joker?: Salman Khan is so fascinated with the idea about a film in 3D that he has asked Shirish Kunder to pen a role for him in his upcoming 3D superhero action flick Joker.
Joker began shooting in February in Chandigarh with Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Now, at Salman’s insistence Shirish has to pen a role for him in the film and that is no easy job, considering Salman’s stature as an actor. Reveals Kunder to a leading daily, "I would love to include Salman in Joker. But it has to be a role that would do justice to him."
Salman Khan has appeared in cameos for Farah Khan and Srish Kunder in ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Tees Maar Khan’, and he has recently signed to play the lead in Kunder’s film Kick. However, Sallu is so in love with 3D technology that Joker is unlike any other. Promising to take the audience to a world they’ve never seen or experienced before, Kunder is convinced that the 3D movie will bring the masses back into the theatres.
Salman simply does not want to be left out of this 3D extravaganza.
Minissha Lamba to get her dream role in Shirish's next film 'Joker': Minissha Lamba has been waiting for a big project to give the much needed boost to her career. That boost has now come with her having landed a role in Shirish Kunder’s film Joker. Albeit, she is not cast as the female lead.
“Minissha Lamba has been cast as the heroine opposite Shreyas Talpade in 'Joker',” Shirish wrote on microblogging site Twitter.
Minissha herself is quite excited about working with Shirish Kunder whom she admits to admire as a film-maker.
“Gonna start filming a new movie soon..Shirish Kunder's 'Joker'. It's a blessing to work with people whose work one has admired,” Minissha also wrote on Twitter. She was last seen in the national award winning film Well Done Abba.
Sonakshi Sinha's next film Joker shooting start from 12 February: Shirish Kunder's next directorial venture after Jaane-Mann, titled Joker will go on floors from 12 February.
This will be Kunder's second movie as director and stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the main leads. Shreyas Talpade has been cast as the second male lead in Joker and will be essaying the role of Akshay's brother. The female lead opposite Talpade has not yet been decided.
Kunder will be heading to Chandigarh tomorrow for location scouting. Earlier this week, Kunder also went on a location recce in the interiors of Maharashtra for the movie. Kunder wrote on his Twitter, "Joker is not a Superhero film. At one point it used to be. But what we are making now is a completely new script, with the same title."
The movie is slated to release around Christmas this year and is being produced by Akshay Kumar.
Kunder recently co-produced Tees Maar Khan along with Akshay Kumar's Hari Om Productions. The movie was directed by Farah Khan and starred Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead.
Akshay Kumar and Farah Khan makes another 3D film 'Joker': Notwithstanding the less-than-expected run of Tees Maar Khan at box office, Farah Khan, Akshay Kumar and Shirish Kunder are reuniting again for a 3D film.
This time, the trio aim higher on entertainment quotient with their film Joker, which will be directed not by Farah but her husband Shirish. “We will begin work on Joker in January. We are already through with the ground work and it is time to start the principal shoot. The film will be made in 3D,” Farah is quoted as saying by a news agency.
The movie, an all-out entertainer, will have Sonakshi Sinha opposite Akshay. It will be jointly produced by Farah-Shirish's Three's Company and Akshay's 'Hari Om Entertainment Co'.
“It should be a good experience to work with the same team after Tees Maar Khan. I have always believed that you should enjoy the filmmaking process instead of worrying about the fate of a film,” Farah said.
With Farah and Shirish switching roles, their production company already has two directors.
“Not many production houses can boast of two in-house directors. This way we don't have to rely upon outside directors to make films for us,” Farah said.
The shoot of ‘Joker’ will begin on 24th January at Malshej ghat. The second schedule will be in April-May.
