Sonali Bendre wasn't going pantyless: The reports of Sonali Bendre going pantyless at Karan Johar’s bash have been strongly denied by the actress.
The denial has come in a statement issued through her spokesperson. The statement says: “There have been malicious reports circulating online about a wardrobe malfunction concerning our client Ms.Sonali Bendre. On behalf of Sonali, we would like to clarify, that there is no truth to the story which has left both Sonali Bendre and her family highly grieved and disturbed.”
One media report had gone on to suggest that when reporters asked Sonali at the bash about her fashion faux pas, she replied: “I am happy that you saw it.” Sonali’s spokesperson clarified that the actress never said anything like that to anyone. “The story also carries a quote attributed to Sonali which is utterly ridiculous. Our client belongs to a respectable family, is a mother and has always shared a very warm and cordial relationship with the media,” the statement said.
The statement added that the story is being fabricated by vested interests.
“We would like to elucidate to all concerned that the story is fabricated by vested interests that aim to damage her reputation and hence request you to not credit it or encourage it.”
Seems that ever since Yana Gupta getting photographed panty less created a frenzy, the media has been all too eager to pre-maturely publicize such events even if they are baseless.

Following the event, reports surfaced that the actress arrived at the party wearing a short black mini dress but forgot to wear the essential piece of garment - her underwear; suggesting that the actress who was sitting on the back seat of her car along with Ash was clueless about what was showing.
What is shocking about the report is that cameramen claimed to have snapped pictures and that when she was informed by the press, she smiled at the reporters and said, "I am happy that you saw it."
We must say that there are no pictures of the reported wardrobe malfunction and the Sonali Bendre panty less pictures or videos in question do not exist.
A few weeks ago, actress Neetu Chandra went through a similar situation when misleading reports had surfaced that she was snapped panty-less.
