South actress Samantha gets a roll!: Even as Samantha’s next film Neethaane En Ponvasantham tops the wishlish of many fans, the beautiful actress is ready to shoot for another big project.
Southern actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu will join the cast and the crew of Telugu movie Yevadu in October.
The 25-year-old recently wrapped up shooting for Gautham Menon's Tamil project Neethaane En Ponvasantham.
"Samantha will join the crew of 'Yevadu' in October. It will also features Ram Charan and Amy Jackson. It will be directed by Vamsi Paidipally," a source told IANS.
Former British model Amy Jackson has already started shooting for the film in Hyderabad, which is said to be loosely based on Hollywood action thriller "Face Off". Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal will be seen in a cameo in the film
Meanwhile, Samantha is set to start shooting for Nandini Reddy's untitled Telugu film with actor Siddharth in Dubai from third week of September.
Ajay Devgan to pair up with south actress Kajal Aggarwal: There is a new Kajal in Ajay Devgan’s life! Director Rohit Shetty has started working on the Hindi remake of the south film Singam with Ajay Devgan, and he has roped in the hit south actress Kajal Aggarwal to pair opposite him.
What worked in Kajal’s favour? She is quite a popular name down south and also she has got dates to give for the project. Initially, Rohit was keen on Anushka Shetty, who starred in the original opposite Surya. But since she was busy with other projects, Kajal was approached and she lapped the opportunity. However, this is not Kajal’s first Hindi film. She was also seen in a small role in Kyun Ho Gaya Na where she played Aishwarya Rai’s friend.
Rohit liked her in Magadheera which is one of the biggest Telugu hits of 2010.
