The two have left for Chicago where Abhishek Bachchan is shooting Dhoom 3 for quite some time. Ash apparently decided to be with her dear hubby in the city. Needless to say, Abhi must be missing Ash and Aaradhya. Seen dressed in black and expectedly keeping Aaradhya close to her bosom and well hidden from the paparazzi, Aishwarya left for Chicago. This time, like an Indian married woman, she was sporting sindoor as well. Is it for Teej?
There were reports that Aishwarya Rai will visit Abhi in Chicago around mid September, but she will apparently first go to New York to meet her sister-in-law Shweta Bachchan Nanda, who’s often in the city. From there, Ash along with her daughter will join Abhishek in Chicago to spend some family time.
Abhishek Bachchan is shooting for Dhoom 3 in Chicago for almost a month now. Naturally, he is missing his daughter Aaradhya and wife Aishwarya. Perhaps more so since his co-star from the film, Aamir Khan has already flown in his wife Kiran Rao and son Aazad to the city. So, it’s family time for both the actors.
Coincidentally, Aishwarya’s Chicago trip comes close to the release of Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Heroine from which she had opted out last year due to her pregnancy, almost scrapping the project until Bhandarkar approached and roped in his first choice, Kareena Kapoor. Is Ash trying to avoid media attention or the press trying to read too much in the coincidence of her visit and Heroine release.

Sunny Leone to get paid Rs. 1 crore for 'Ragini MMS 2'?: She is the hottest thing to have happened to Bollywood in a long time. To serve Sunny Leone hot to the audiences, do you know how much Ekta Kapoor is shelling out to the sexbomb? The amount is said to be almost a crore. Is it true? Well, if the reports are to be believed then yes! Ekta Kapoor, who signed Sunny Leone for the sequel of Ragini MMS even before the release of her first film Jism 2, is apparently paying the adult film star Rs 1 crore.
As a tabloid reports, the lackluster performance of Jism 2 at the box office hasn’t affected Ekta Kapoor’s resolve, and Sunny Leone has been signed for Ragini MMS 2 and is paid a humungous amount.
Now the only question is if Jism 2 was a damp squib, thanks to scant skin show by Sunny Leone, what can be expected from her in Ragini MMS 2? Let’s hope Ekta cares for the money she is investing in the sequel. Or, will she present Sunny in a new light -- way sexier than her fans want to see her.

Box Office Report: Barfi! opens good in first weekend: Ranbir Kapoor's endearing portrayal of a deaf and mute boy in Anurag Basu's Barfi! has left the viewers, critics and the box office wearing a big smile. The movie, appreciated for its picturesque cinematography, has collected Rs.34.6 crore in its opening weekend. The romantic comedy, released Friday, also features actress Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz, who have delivered excellent performances as an autistic girl, and a rich Bengali girl, respectively.
The film, made at a budget of Rs.30 crore, talks about love beyond language and disability. With this theme, it managed to mint Rs.9.20 crore on its opening day, Rs.11.50 crore on the second day and Rs.13.5 crore on Sunday.
"'Barfi' has done remarkable business. The film gathered steam with each passing day, rising to the maximum on Saturday and Sunday. It was released in less than 700 cinema halls in India, a tiny release as compared to the biggies. Occupancy at multiplexes was fantastic," tweeted film critic Taran Adarsh.
In the overseas market, Barfi! crossed the Rs.2 million-mark over the weekend, making it Ranbir's highest grosser overseas, ahead of Raajneeti and Rockstar.
Producer Siddharth Roy Kapur says the response to 'Barfi!' has been "completely overwhelming".
"These are the moments that filmmakers, artists, technicians and producers live for. The love and appreciation that is being showered on the film from audiences and critics in India and around the world is unprecedented," said Kapur, managing director, Studios, Disney UTV.
The movie has been widely appreciated by the film fraternity too. Karan Johar has gone to the extent of saying that Basu's "genius" makes him feel "talentless".
"It's a big moment for Anurag, the cast, the crew, and for all of us at Disney UTV. This is a film we have supported and nurtured from its very inception, and it gives us a tremendous sense of satisfaction to have our creative instincts backed by the audience," said Kapur.
"Barfi!" had a tremendous buzz around it since the beginning, and with innovative promotions, the team had the audience waiting for it eagerly. Anant Verma, director and business head, DT Cinemas, reveals the film had a rush for advance bookings from Sep 12.
"The response to the film has been excellent. It had advance bookings from Wednesday and also had many corporate bookings. There was a tremendous increase in footfall after Friday, and it is word-of-mouth publicity that worked in favour of the film," Verma told IANS.
Verma expects weekdays to have decent occupancy too.
Gaurav Verma, director, India theatrical distribution, Studios, Disney UTV, said: "'Barfi!' has once again proved that an effective marketing and distribution with a great content can ensure that a film attracts audiences into theatres.
"We had the right strategy and identified the right cinemas for a content as unique as 'Barfi!' and simultaneously ensured that it's available to all. The result is there for all to see from the overwhelming and unprecedented response that we have received from across the country."

Ranbir Kapoor spotted at Katrina Kaif’s resident at night: Katrina Kaif may claim to be still single, but her special friendship with Ranbir Kapoor is by no means over. Buzz is that Ranbir Kapoor paid a hush-hush visit to Katrina Kaif at her Bandra residence around 11 in the night and he left around 12.45 am. The visit came on the very evening when Ranbir held a special screening of his film Barfi! at Yash Raj Films Studios for friends and colleagues from the film industry.
According to reports, Ranbir Kapoor left the screening before the interval and drove to Waterfield Road where Katrina Kaif’s old residence is. Kareena Kapoor wears simple wedding dress:Much as Kareena Kapoor or Saif Ali Khan may keep mum on their wedding date, preparations are in full swing for the D-day and even the bride-to-be’s wedding dress is being readied. After Sharmila Tagore, Manish Malhotra has spilled the beans regarding Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's wedding. The fashion designer, who has confirmed that he is designing the actress' attire, says he will stick to the bride's simple, yet elegant taste.
Asked if he is designing Kareena's wedding dress, Manish confirmed it, saying: "That's right! You ask her the details. But yes, it's mid-October, everyone knows this now."
"There is a very small function which is (with) family and friends. Then there is a reception in Delhi, so (I am designing) for both the occasions," the 47-year-old said here Friday at the HT Brunch Dialogues.
Saif's mother, veteran actress Sharmila has so far maintained that the D-day is Oct 16. However, neither Saif Ali Khan nor Kareena Kapoor, have confirmed it.
Malhotra says the preparations are on in full swing, and Kareena wants to keep it simple.
"Kareena, always as an actor and as a personality, never likes too much of embroidery and jewellery. She is beautiful and she is very aware of that.
"I don't think there would be too much of embroidery or shine, it's going to be more old world charm...lots of nice fabric, but not too much," he added.
Saif and Kareena have been dating each other since 2007.
