Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif back again?: It seems, this couple will keep the media confused for long. After meeting Salman Khan on his birthday, Katrina Kaif is all set to spend a couple of days with the actor and his family.

A source informed Mid Day, "Katrina has been seen bonding again with Salman and his family lately. She was spotted at his Tees Maar Khan trial and then went to wish him before he left for Dubai to bring in his birthday with an entourage of forty friends and family members."

If all goes well, Katrina will fly down tomorrow to be with Sallu and family. "Salman's parents, Salim and Salma, Helen, brothers Arbaaz, Sohail, sisters Alvira and Arpita and their children are all in Dubai, though some friends have returned. Kat might even fly down with Salman tomorrow to Dubai depending on when she wraps up for her YRF film."

The actress wants to reconnect with her ex, but doesn't want media to keep a track of this. Says a source, "Katrina is keen to get back into the Khan family fold again but she doesn't want the media know about it. Last week, she was very upset when she had gone to wish Salman a day before his birthday (on Christmas) at his Bandra residence and photographers had caught her in the act. Right now, Katrina is still testing the waters with Salman."

Katrina denies reconnecting with Salman and family. She told the tabloid, However, the actress denies any plans of going to Dubai, "I am shooting Mere Brother Ki Dulhan with YRF till January 31. If weather permits, I may go to London for a day."

Shahid Kapoor wants to play as Priyanka's husband!: In a recent episode of Koffee With Karan, Shahid Kapoor casually asked Priyanka Chopra: " Why didn't you take me in Saat Khoon Maaf ?" Priyanka didn't know what to say and simply answered: " I didn't know you were interested." We now hear that Shahid is insecure about his on-and-off girlfriend Priyanka's intimate scenes with the actors who play her husbands in the film.

But the grapevine claims the real reason he is irked is that director Vishal Bhardwaj didn't cast him in the film.

But we guess Shahid's issues with Vishal during the making of Kaminey dissuaded the maker. Don't cry over spilt milk, Shahid.

What Katrina Kaif to do at New Year?: Every year, Katrina Kaif packs her bags in the last week of December and flies to London to be with her family. However, she may not be able to do so this year.

The reason being that she is busy with the shoot of the Yashraj film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan with co-stars Imran Khan and Ali Zafar. The shoot continues till December 31.

Still Katrina says she might fly to London after completing the shoot. Her only worry is that the flights to London are not cancelled due to inclement weather. Europe has been witnessing heavy snowfall lately. After all, she doesn’t want to ring in the New Year waiting at the airport.

Rumour even has it that she may fly to Dubai to join Salman Khan and his family, but Katrina has ruled that option out.

Shahrukh Khan-Salman Khan: will New Year Celebrate together in Dubai?: In a remarkable coincidence, both Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan are in Dubai for the New Year celebrations.

Shahrukh has flown to the Emirates with his family and friends including Karan Johar, Hrithik Roshan and his wife Sussanne Khan. Salman, on the other hand, is in Dubai with his family.

So what are the chances of SRK and Sallu meeting up and making peace?

“The chance is pretty bleak. But you never know. Remember, Hrithik bonded well with Salman at Sohail Khan’s birthday bash and he’s presently holidaying with SRK. May be he could initiate something to bring the two Khans together,” says a source from the industry.

Not to be ignored are the feelers that Shahrukh has been sending out to Salman lately, indirectly albeit.

On an upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan which has already been shot, Shahrukh went to the extent of admitting that it is his fault that Salman is not talking with him anymore.

“If Salman and Farah are upset with me it's 100 per cent my fault but I can't pick up the phone and say sorry.... I can't apologise because of ego but because I can't just get myself to ask people to come back to me,” Shahrukh is quoted to have said.

Moreover, SRK has been talking about making new beginnings in 2011. One of those could be a permanent burial of his rivalry with Salman.

How great that would be!
