Pics: People magazine’s ‘Best Dressed Women’ of 2012: Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow has been named the Best Dressed Woman of 2012 by the editors of the style and fashion magazine, People. The Best Dressed title comes as yet another feather in Paltrow’s well plumed hat. Earlier this year, Paltrow was crowned the 'Best Dressed' at the 2012 Oscars by fashion magazine Vogue after she attended the event in a white Tom Ford dress.
Now, she’s beaten the likes of Emma Stone, Miranda Kerr and the Kardashian sisters, Kim Kardashian being the prominent, to top the Best Dressed Women of 2012 list by People magazine.
According to People: “Her (Gwyneth’s) red carpet skills are unparalleled, always arriving in unexpected, yet chic looks. Of course, it helps to have Gwynnie's body when going for a Stella McCartney racerback gown or Prada micromini - but we can't begrudge her that when she seems to be having so much fun with her wardrobe.”
The top ten also includes Jessica Alba, Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Lawrence.

Kim Kardashian recently posted a steamy photo of hers in which she is wearing underwear and a fur coat. The image is taken from the stills she shot during a retro styled photo session, a few days back. High on oomphometer! The image shows the 31-year-old lying on a table decked in pearls and donning a pair of sexy lingerie and stockings, while her fur coat does nothing to cover her.

Ranbir Kapoor spotted at Katrina Kaif’s resident at night: Katrina Kaif may claim to be still single, but her special friendship with Ranbir Kapoor is by no means over. Buzz is that Ranbir Kapoor paid a hush-hush visit to Katrina Kaif at her Bandra residence around 11 in the night and he left around 12.45 am. The visit came on the very evening when Ranbir held a special screening of his film Barfi! at Yash Raj Films Studios for friends and colleagues from the film industry.
According to reports, Ranbir Kapoor left the screening before the interval and drove to Waterfield Road where Katrina Kaif’s old residence is. What transpired during this hush-hush meeting is anybody’s guess, but this isn’t the first time the two have been spotted together since they were linked during their Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani and Raanjeeti days. Recently, Katrina Kaif was also seen outside Ranbir’s Bandra residence.

Kareena Kapoor wears simple wedding dress:Much as Kareena Kapoor or Saif Ali Khan may keep mum on their wedding date, preparations are in full swing for the D-day and even the bride-to-be’s wedding dress is being readied. After Sharmila Tagore, Manish Malhotra has spilled the beans regarding Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's wedding. The fashion designer, who has confirmed that he is designing the actress' attire, says he will stick to the bride's simple, yet elegant taste.
Asked if he is designing Kareena's wedding dress, Manish confirmed it, saying: "That's right! You ask her the details. But yes, it's mid-October, everyone knows this now."
"There is a very small function which is (with) family and friends. Then there is a reception in Delhi, so (I am designing) for both the occasions," the 47-year-old said here Friday at the HT Brunch Dialogues.
Saif's mother, veteran actress Sharmila has so far maintained that the D-day is Oct 16. However, neither Saif Ali Khan nor Kareena Kapoor, have confirmed it.
Malhotra says the preparations are on in full swing, and Kareena wants to keep it simple.
"Kareena, always as an actor and as a personality, never likes too much of embroidery and jewellery. She is beautiful and she is very aware of that.
"I don't think there would be too much of embroidery or shine, it's going to be more old world charm...lots of nice fabric, but not too much," he added.
Saif and Kareena have been dating each other since 2007.
Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma wants to divorce!: Heading for splitsville! If reports are to be believed Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma are parting ways. The gaps between them have widened and there is trouble in their paradise, which also has one-and-half-year old Haroon, their son. The cracks started appearing first when the couple was spotted at various events staying aloof from each other. In May, when Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma were seen at a film premiere they looked upset and miffed with each other. The duo even sat separately during the screening of the film and chose to ignore media queries about their marriage. Ranvir was so stressed that he even snapped at the press saying that they were not conjoined twins who would stay together at every meet.

Southern actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu will join the cast and the crew of Telugu movie Yevadu in October.
The 25-year-old recently wrapped up shooting for Gautham Menon's Tamil project Neethaane En Ponvasantham.
"Samantha will join the crew of 'Yevadu' in October. It will also features Ram Charan and Amy Jackson. It will be directed by Vamsi Paidipally," a source told IANS.
Former British model Amy Jackson has already started shooting for the film in Hyderabad, which is said to be loosely based on Hollywood action thriller "Face Off". Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal will be seen in a cameo in the film
Meanwhile, Samantha is set to start shooting for Nandini Reddy's untitled Telugu film with actor Siddharth in Dubai from third week of September.
