Box Office Report: Akshay Kumar's 'Rowdy Rathore' cross 100 crore: Rowdy Rathore, a rage at box office following its release on June 1, has now dropped in the Rs. 100 crore club. This is the second Akshay Kumar-starrer to drop in the club for the present year.
Time for the Rowdy Rathore team to celebrate. After a ten-day run at theatres, the picture has finally traveled past the Rs. 100 crore mark. Starring Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and south actor Nasser in principal roles, the picture got off to a flying start in its first weekend and raked in Rs. 48 crore. The picture made another Rs. 31 crore from Monday to Thursday and added Rs. 22 crore to its kitty over the second weekend. Actually on the Sunday of its second weekend, the picture did a business in overabundance of Rs. 10 crore.
