Karan Johar-Shahrukh Khan’s new venture ‘Student Of The Year’ - First Look: B-Town was abuzz with the news that Karan Johar is launching Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Alia Bhatt and David Dhawan’s son Varun Dhawan in his next.
Now, Karan has proved the speculations right by releasing the first look of the film which is titled Student Of The Year, and guess who else is producing the film, his good friend Shahrukh Khan. Yes, the promotion of Student Of The Year has started online. Karan Johar, using his Twitter handle, posted the first look of the film which has three posters featuring the young actors Varun, Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt.
Keeping the promise to promote youngsters, Karan has come up with this youthful film which can remind many of his first film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which also had a college set-up. Varun and Siddharth already have an experience in film-making as they have assisted various directors.

Kiran Rao to direct Aamir Khan to do a lovemaking scene: Was it difficult for the first-time director Kiran Rao to film her husband Aamir Khan doing lovemaking scenes in Dhobi Ghat?
The movie is releasing on January 21, and recently some new trailers of the movie were launched where Aamir is seen in an intimate sequence with a female co-star. As the movie is about four people and their intertwined relationships, Kiran chose to show intimacy more through the emotional connection between the characters.
While talking to a daily, Kiran confesses that she chose to keep the scenes tame, “I kept those scenes tame! They all had their clothes on. Besides, intimacy is not shown through sex but by a connection that you see between the characters in the film. There is no sex in Dhobi Ghat.” How did Aamir manage to do the steamy scenes? Kiran says he rather wanted to make them more exciting. Not to forget, he is a perfectionist.
We hear that Salman has accepted the invitation to Karan’s show, an exception considering that Sallu hardly makes an appearance on any chat show. So far, he has appeared only on Farah Khan’s show Tere Mere Beach Mein.
It’s no secret that Salman and Karan Johar has been bonding well lately. The latter’s equation with Shahrukh never came in the way of their camaraderie. And initially, Karan did want Salman to appear on KWK with Aamir Khan. But when Aamir tagged up with wife Kiran Rao for a special KWK episode, Karan went ahead with a solo appearance of Salman.
It would be interesting to see what frank disclosures Salman makes on the show.

Aishwarya Rai new look on cover on people Magazine: Aishwarya Rai had an eventful 2010 with four releases, but what made her most happy was the birth of her nephew. Though the actress loves to play aunt, she is looking forward to motherhood.
Umpteen times her pregnancy rumours have done the rounds. Plagued and pestered by the question of when the stork is visiting, Aishwarya tells the People magazine that she is looking forward to being a mother: “Of course I am looking forward to it. As and when God has planned for me, I will be a mother.” According to her, a boy and a girl would be perfect to complete a family picture.
“A child is God’s gift and we will be happy to have a child, be it a girl or a boy,” she adds.
Though she likes to leave everything to God, and remains unperturbed by the rumours, she felt hurt when a media report about her supposed inability to conceive because of an ongoing treatment for stomach tuberculosis started doing the rounds.
Aishwarya has also scotched various other rumours in the interview with People, but cleverly evades any question related to her ex-beau Salman Khan.

For the uninitiated, Patiala House is the story of a Sikh joint family. Four generations of the Kahlon family live together, in a suburban house in London. The term 'Patiala' in this film, signifies a fourth generation Sikh household in Southall, London, UK. A house with 22 members both young and old ruled by an autocratic and big headed Gurtej Singh Kahlon (Rishi Kapoor). A house where the disparity in thought between the younger and older generation has reached a simmering boiling point and mutiny, rebellion is round the corner. How a 34 year old ex-cricketer who has been forced to sacrifice his dreams for his fathers ideals is given a second chance to see it getting fulfilled.
Talking about the film, both the producers Mukesh Talreja and Bhushan Kumar, say in unison that, "We feel that this is a film that every Indian will be able to identify with, as almost all Indians at some point have the experience of living in a joint family. Patiala House is a full entertainer with all the ingredients of a family entertainer thrown in."
While Nikhil Advani said, "The essence of Patiala House is pursuing your dream when life gives you a second chance. In this pursuit, Akshay happens to be a cricketer, but he could've been a musician or a poet. It can be your story or mine. Patiala House is the story of the Kahlon family, and their travails."
Patiala House is all set to release on February 11.

The item girl who is presently rehearsing and performing on the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, informs that she has got some boxes of panties from her fans and friends as a Christmas and New year gift for her. Now, that sounds something interesting. Looks like her fans are more concerned about her image in public than she is. The babuji girl grabbed a lot of attention last year when a tabloid carried her picture at a charity event sans panty.
So, her fans who got offend with the no panty act, sent her boxes of panties as a gift for the festive season. Pre-Wedding Bash of Imran Khan: Invitation to Bollywood Celebrities: By now, it's common knowledge that Imran Khan will be breaking many hearts by tying the knot with his sweetheart Avantika Malik on Jan 10. While the wedding would be a rather private affair, Imran plans to make-up for it by hosting a pre-wedding bash (mehndi cum reception) on January 8 where he has invited all his friends from the industry.
The guest list for this pre-wedding party is quite a long one and apparently, the buzz is that Imran has specially invited all his female co-stars and most of them have confirmed their presence too. Imran's first co-star Genelia D'Souza, his Break Ke Baad co-star Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor (with whom he is teaming up in Short Term Shaadi) have all confirmed to attend the party. Deepika, who is currently on a backpacking tour in the UK will cut short her vacation to attend Imran's party in Mumbai. Bebo too will cut short her Swiss holiday with beau Saif to make it in time for her co-star's wedding celebrations.
However, Sonam Kapoor and Katrina Kaif (who've worked with Imran in I Hate Luv Storys and the forthcoming YRF flick Mere Brother Ki Dulhan) would unfortunately miss out on this big bash due to prior work commitments.

I have no idea and it’s not really my job to compare and analyse the differences and similarities between the songs. Malaika has done a fabulous job and Dabangg was a great movie. I, on the other hand, have done the best I could in Sheila Ki Jawani. As long as people love them both, I am happy.
Do you feel the media is unfair to you? Not at all. The media has played a huge role in the recognition I get and has helped me become the person I am today. I attribute my fan base and other accolades like ‘the most searched person on Google’ to the media. If they speculate and print what they do, it is because it is their job! Katrina Kaif to ring back with Salman Khan: The recent rumour that Katrina Kaif will fly to Dubai to ring in New Year with Salman Khan has sure irked the actress.
Any gossip that hooks Katrina back with Salman seems to tick the lady off. For she has vehemently denied the latest rumour about going to Dubai to be with Sallu.
The whispers began when Katrina visited Salman’s house to wish him on his birthday.
“Why would I not visit his home? And why would I try to hide the visit?” Katrina is quoted as saying in a media report. A livid Kat went on to add that she has been close to Salman’s family and will continue to be even if Salman is seeing someone else, or she begins to see someone.
Vivek Oberoi have no time for his honeymoon!: More than two months have passed since Vivek Oberoi got married to Priyanka Alva, but the couple aren’t able to set off for a proper honeymoon yet.
First, Vivek got busy in the promotion of Rakta Charitra and postponed his honeymoon to mid-November. Though he did whisk Priyanka off to Aamby Valley for a few days, the couple mostly stayed put in the house in Mumbai gifted them by Vivek’s parents.
Then came the New Year’s eve and Vivek was again busy in preparing for his performance at the Country Club bash in Dubai. Again, he squeezed out time to take Priyanka out for a romantic candle-light dinner at the elite restaurant Le Petit Maison. The couple had more outings on the 1st and 2nd Jan in Dubai. They were then supposed to fly off for a long honeymoon at Red Sea in the Arabian Peninsula. But the trip was cancelled because Vivek accepted the invitation to the opening exhibition tennis match at Chennai Open. Once again the honeymoon was interrupted.
We hear that Vivek has promised his incredibly patient and understanding wife that he will make up for the missed honeymoon by taking her to exotic places throughout the year.
At the time of his marriage, he had said he would like to honeymoon at a place where he can fly planes and his wife can do deep-sea diving.
