Aishwarya Rai Elle magazine Scandal: Elle magazine might soon face the wrath of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan if it is proved that the mag has digitally paled her skin tone in the latest issue.

Elle of India has carried out a cover story on the actress for this edition and she is seen wearing a Victorian style gown designed by Rohit Bal. The inside story on the former Miss World is written by Pritish Nandy.

Since Aishwarya Rai was busy attending her ailing father she was not aware of the alterations that have been made by the mag, but now that she has learnt about it she is authenticating it and if it is proved the lady won’t hesitate to sue the mag.

This is not the first time that the global star will take a stand against this kind of racial discrimination.

Previously, Aishwarya refused to endorse a skin lightening product of L’Oreal as part of her ethics where she believes that women should be seen by their achievements and not skin color. So last thing she would want is to be part of a mag or a product that promotes racial discrimination. Being a global face of the contemporary woman, Aishwarya is ready to drag the international mag to court.

This won’t be the first time that Elle has been involved in doing such a thing, in the US issue the mag digitally bleached the skin color of the Oscar winner Gaboury Sudibine on its cover page. The African-American actress was given a lighter shade in this year’s September issue.
Salman Khan vs Ranbir Kapoor - 'Ready' and 'Rockstar': The year has just kicked in and the star wars have already erupted. Trade sources say that Salman Khan's Ready and Ranbir Kapoor's Rockstar will both reportedly release on May 27.

While Ready is an action thriller, Rockstar is a musical-emotional extravaganza.

It would be interesting to watch the fireworks of having Salman and Ranbir out there promoting their new releases simultaneously. Ranbir keeps stressing that he adores Salman and has no issues whatsoever with the senior actor.

However, the trade and the media are standing back for some live action because Salman most certainly doesn't reciprocrate Ranbir's feelings. And when it comes to the box office, Sallu will crush everything that comes in his way.
Pakistani Actress 'Meera' will in Bigg Boss 5?: It is the fact that Meera’s Times of India interview revealed that would she be part of Bigg Boss next season. She didn’t want to be part of the same house with Veena Mlaik and looks forward to ‘exposing’ her, whatever that means.

It is predict that the actress Meera enters Bigg Boss 5 with fellow Pakistani Salman Ahmad. While Meera will try to become “besties” with Salman Khan, Salman Ahmad will strum his guitar and recite Sufi mysticism. Meera, as evidenced from her recent television appearance, will blabber nonsense and tell all the houseguests she’ll get back to them with an answer the next day, when asked about the dirty dishes in the kitchen sink.
Salman Khan, Aamir Khan big stars in Bollywood, SRK: Shahrukh Khan unlike his nature has been out of the lime light for the most part of 2010, except or the beginning during the 'My Name is Khan' Controversy with Shiv Sena. He recently shot for buddy Karan Johar's chat show Koffee with Karan. Sources say that SRK got really candid on the show with buddy and talked with an open heart.

He let out a lot of secrets on the show, as rushes of the show also saw tears in Johar's eyes.

Shahrukh made a very unlike him statement in the show when he said that Aamir and Salman were grown -ups and he would like to grow up like them one day.

He has always considered himself the superstar, the Badshah of B-town. Shahrukh's rift with Aamir in a war of words has been quite public and so are his unhealthy relations with one-time buddy Salman Khan.

However sources at the set also say that his statement is also an indication of the fact that Aamir and Salman entered the film industry earlier than him and it was just his way of saying that made people believe he has given up the number one throne.
'Bhoot and Friends' Review - Jackie Shroff playing as Ghost: Guess what’s the easiest formula to whip out an adventure kiddie flick? First and foremost, put a bunch of bachcha log on the hunt for a missing treasure. Opposite them pitch a bunch of bumbling goons, after the same treasure. Now, the bachcha log is surely going to need a saviour. Abracadabra! Lo and behold a friendly bhoot to the little one’s rescue.

Director Kittu Saluja’s film Bhoot and Friends boasts of such stock characters in stock situations.

Raghav (Makrand Soni) and his friends go on a holiday to his grandma’s. There they befriend a ghost (Jackie Shroff) and set forth in search of a treasure. There’s also the evil baddie (Ashwin Mushran) who leads a pack of goofy goons to find the same treasure.

There’s obviously a showdown between the kids and the goons, but the little one’s outfox and outmuscle the baddies, but not without a little help from their friend, the bhoot. Jackie Shroff looks jaded playing the turbaned ghost whose magic tricks are not really jaw-dropping.

Still credit to director Kittu Saluja for some interesting sequences before the climax. The back-story is a bit of a let-down, but the performances by the kids (Makrand, Ishita, Aakash) make Bhoot and Friends a wee bit interesting. Otherwise, for the most part, this bhoot is a big bore.

‘She's similar to that even in Pakistan. She attempts to duplicate the people. She would be able to never be her particular self. This is not the right thing to do as there are a significant number of different superb strategies to end up really popular. Why stoop down to economical tactics,’ she asked.

Madhavan, was initially titled “Manu Weds Tanu” but the name was changed at the lead actress’ behest.Director Anand Rai felt “Manu Weds Tanu” was an appropriate title, but Kangana who plays Tanu in the film, insisted that the title should be “Tanu Weds Manu” and not “Manu Weds Tanu” because the narrative unfolds from Tanu’s point of view, said a source.

Tees Maar Khan has been touted to become one of the major blockbuster movies of 2010 until it released, but after December 24th while critics have given unsavory comments, the audience have not embraced it with open hands either.

So, at Anil Kapoor’s birthday party on the same day, the director who loves to tickle the audience’s funny bones criticized Tees Maar Khan and commented that it bombed at the box-office.

The remark that David made reached Akki’s ears and the actor didn’t lose anytime in picking up the phone and giving the director a piece of his mind. Sonakshi Sinha looking to break the 'Salman jinx': Svelte Sonakshi Sinha looks to have finally broken Bollywood's ' Salman Khan jinx'. While no other actress who debuted opposite Salman Khan had managed to make it big in Hindi films, Shotgun's pretty daughter has not only been flooded with offers since Dabangg became a blockbuster, but she is also rumoured to be charging more than ` 1 crore per film.

To begin with, Sonakshi starts shooting for Shirish Kunder's 3D extravaganza Joker with Akshay Kumar in January. This will be followed by the multi- starrer Race 2 , for which directors Abbas- Mustan have preferred her to Kareena Kapoor, despite the film's hero Saif Ali Khan reportedly insisting that his girlfriend be cast in the film. Up next will be Kick, an action- comedy costarring Salman, and Prabhu Deva's upcoming Akshay Kumar- starrer.

Rumours are also doing the rounds that Sonakshi could be one of the heroines in Sajid Khan's Housefull 2. Kunal Kohli wants to cast her in his next film starring Shahid Kapoor.

Anurag Basu is also considering Sonakshi for his upcoming film, Barfee , starring Ranbir Kapoor.

It's not every day in Bollywood that an actress who is just one- film- old is flooded with so many offers from top banners. " Her confidence sets her apart. Everyone has noted the fact that although Dabangg was her first film and she was paired with a superstar of Salman Khan's stature, she showed no signs of nervousness. She has no camera fright," said Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap.

" Being a star's daughter definitely gave her a headstart compared to other newcomers. It means she was considered for high- profile projects and got more leeway. It remains to be seen how she cashes in on the advantage.

However, if producers are willing to shell out over a crore for the onefilm- old Sonakshi, that says a lot," an industry insider said.

Salman is known to promote new talent. However, every newcomer who has made her debut opposite the superstar has somehow never managed to survive in Bollywood.

Turn back the clock, and you realise that Bhagyashree, despite her blockbuster debut in Maine Pyar Kiya , never quite succeeded in chalking out a career in Bollywood. After the Sooraj Barjatya superhit and her now- defunct marriage to flop actor Himalaya, Bhagyashree tried several comebacks in films as well as on TV but none have had any impact.

Similarly, Naghma, Salman's debutant co- star in Baaghi failed to make an impact in Bollywood. Subsequently, she did small roles in films such as Yalgaar and King Uncle before becoming a superstar in Tamil cinema.

Industry experts feel the pattern is a result of the fact that Salman's films hardly ever leave any scope for his actresses, especially newcomers.

That's likely what happened to Chandni as well. In 1991, Salman starred opposite debutant Chandni in Sanam Bewafa . The Saawan Kumar- directed film, despite being a superhit, didn't help Chandni's career and she slipped into oblivion.

" In his ( Salman's) films, girls mostly don't get strong roles. They only have to dance and look pretty," said filmmaker Jag Mundhra.

Sonakshi seems to have broken the jinx that the likes of Bhagyashree, Naghma and Chandni couldn't.
